OUR ORIGIN STORY
The first time I brought our two boys (they were 2 and 5 at the time) on stage with me to sing karaoke at a local restaurant, the audience went BANANAS over them. Then I noticed something even cooler: as the weeks went on, more and more adults were bringing their families to sing. This was the first glimmer of TKB.

One year later, I was passing your typical Big Red Barn, and thought: "wouldn't it be awesome to have a concert up in the loft with people dancing down below?" This was the second piece of the puzzle.

Then I remembered something that I had forgotten: 15 years earlier, I had watched a bold dude fully commit to an "air guitar" solo at a karaoke bar in the middle of his song (instead of just standing there awkwardly waiting for the lyrics to start again). It was a bit strange, but kind of captivating. Would have been a lot better if he was actually holding a guitar...

BOOM. TKB was born.
I hunted for a barn. I found a convenient store on the Square instead. Remodeling began. The rest is what you see today.
